Agree. I hate being on the same side as the libs on this issue. But, it is a matter of freedom. Just leave it to the states to legalize it or not. The fight from our side to keep this a schedule I drug is a farce.
But just remember an age-old truism about the irreconcilable conflict in being libertarian: it is impossible to be both a social liberal and a fiscal conservative, because the social liberal side of your badly divided self will make you spend like a fiscal liberal.
There's a pro-potsie proponent here who demands "education and rehabilitation for potheads, not incarceration."
It puts the lie that your side is about freedom, but exposes one of many truths about potheadism: it's just more socialism, both socially and fiscally.
