I can’t and won’t watch FOX anymore exactly because of people like OReilly and Hannity never allowing someone to speak more than two sentences. Their shows are moronic.

We need a conservative show like Buckley’s “Firing Line” where an intellectual host (I’m thinking someone like Victor Davis Hanson) talks with one guest in depth for an hour. The Left does it on PBS with people like Charlie Rose. It simply doesn’t exist on the right. I go to youtube for such shows now.

I know I’m dreaming to think any network would host such a show.

While not a radio show, the Hoover Institution podcasts are outstanding in that regard. Peter Robinson is an EXCELLENT interviewer on "Uncommon Knowledge" and knows how to coach the guests to get the most from them. He lets the guests talk while he stays in the background as much as possible. It's like listening into a conversation he has with his guests. He gets fantastic guests, too. Uncommon Knowledge is available on iTunes.

Well, FWIW, O’Reilly is gone. I would agree that Hannity has a problem in that his loves the sound of his own voice. I would recommend Lou Dobbs, Stewart Varney, Tucker Carlson ( I affectionately call him “F*cker” because no one he has on “f*cks” with him for very long), and Judge Piro. Fact is, she’d make a
VG Atty General.
