As it becomes more and more obvious that President Trump will prevail; that he is the brilliant, benevolent, loving, heroic man we always knew him to be; and that the mass psychosis of his opponents will reveal itself for what it is, the psychotics are becoming increasingly hysterical!

It’s always fascinating to watch. The delusional become increasingly insane, as their clutch on their delusions weakens and the delusions fail. Their hysterical pandemonium can be amusing—even funny—but it also tends to get dangerous. People will KILL to protect their delusions.

What's amazing is that some of these people actually believe the insanity that they're spewing forth. (Some don't, of course.) But the power of denial can never be overestimated.
The tale of Oedipus and Jocasta was laughable until Sigmund Freud explained it in terms of the subconscious mind. Then, of course, it made perfect sense; they knew all along that they were mother and son.
The Left is similarly in denial about President Trump and his immense virtues, brilliance, and heroism; they just want the truth not to be so as desperately as Oedipus and Jocasta wanted the truth not to be so.
It's an old, old story, as old as Western Civilization itself, and it appears that Western Civilization is going to destroy itself because of the very things that the Greek tragedies warned against at the very beginning of Western Civilization: hubris and denial.
Nobody can say that they weren't warned. Oedipus and Jocasta were warned too.
