President Trump lashed out at critics questioning his mental stability in a series of Saturday morning tweets — declaring himself a “genius.”
“Now that Russian collusion, after one year of intense study, has proven to be a total hoax on the American public, the Democrats and their lapdogs, the Fake News Mainstream Media, are taking out the old Ronald Reagan playbook and screaming mental stability and intelligence,” he wrote at 7:19 a.m. “….Actually, throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart. Crooked Hillary Clinton also played these cards very hard and, as everyone knows, went down in flames. I went from VERY successful businessman, to top T.V. Star…..” he continued at 7:27 a.m.
“….to President of the United States (on my first try). I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius….and a very stable genius at that!” he wrote at 7:30 a.m. The self-promoting tweets followed two others, one praising news the country’s African-American unemployment rate had fallen to its lowest rate on record, and another criticizing ABC reporter Brian Ross, who returned to the network after a month-long suspension for an error in a report on Trump’s now disgraced former national security adviser, Michael Flynn.

He made himself look a fool and came across as a teenager from a California Valley high school.
I know l am In the minority here but I think it Trump sounds a little on the defensive with this. I think he needs to watch less CNN and MSNBC. It’s a little too close too “I am not a crook”. By responding to this BS it elevates it to a legitimate issue. I love that he defends himself but this is not worth his time.
Those who criticize his tweeting are “made to look like fools”. President Trump fights back. He is winning. MAGA. President Trump is very different than most repubs who sit back and whimper when attacked by LIB lunatics.

I guess that he can make this claim. He has been very successful in his life. And maybe his confidence is what drives him. I like it vs milquetoast Romney and most of the Republicans in Congress.
