The sad part about this story is that these people actually consider themselves victims somehow. The mere idea that the Republic worked exactly intended with a change in government through peaceful elections and transition of power is poison to them. They need to either disconnect from the DC area and all of its rent seeking tentacles or be disconnected.

Trump may or may not be the best President out there, he may or may not be the worst one out there, but the idea that he ‘just can’t be President, he just can’t!!!’ is incompatible with democracy, the Constitution, or even being an actual adult.

There needs to be a central government. Adults need to be a part of it. It has to be resilient enough to handle anyone being in charge of it and the rules need to be strong enough to keep any one of those anyones from damaging the system so much that there isn’t any coming back. These schmucks were rooting against most of this because they sincerely believed their side would never lose again. They deserve all of their misery.

The GOP answer to the Democrat superstar Obama was the superstar Trump. And it’s a most satisfactory answer.

Democrats shouldn’t complain when Republicans borrow their book.
