Steve Bannon responded to President Donald Trump's blistering assault by calling the president "a great man" and saying, "I support him day in and day out."
Bannon, former White House chief strategist, made the comments on SiriusXM's "Breitbart News Tonight" show hours after the Trump administration unleashed a multi-tiered blitzkrieg of rebukes and condemnation against him for his explosive remarks in Michael Wolff's new book, "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House."
But Bannon remained nonplussed and steadfast in his support of the president.
"The President of the United States is a great man," Bannon said on Breitbart News Tonight."
"You know I support him day in and day out, whether going through the country giving the Trump Miracle Speech or on the show or on the website," Bannon said, responding to a caller.
Bannon again early Thursday reiterated his continued support of the president.
"Nothing will ever come between us and President Trump and his agenda," Bannon said on Breitbart Radio, CNN reported. "We're tight on this agenda as we've ever been."

Bannon needs to clarify exactly what he said and didn’t say and exactly what he meant and didn’t mean.
Oh sure, Steve. That’s why you grant access to the White House to a leftist muckraking ‘journalist’ repeatedly, and personally leak information to the press regarding internal White House communications to throw the President and his administration into chaos and strain relationships with those who expected their communications with the President to be private, damaging the President’s credibility and creating a huge spectacle for the press to embarrassing the President with.
Bannon’s activities on the campaign trail were not to counter the “GOPe” but to damage and undermine President Trump in particular and the entire GOP in general.

That’s some “fit of anger” - repeatedly granting a known far-leftist muckraking journalist access to the White House to undermine the President, participating in a “tell all book” to undermine the President, leaking information to the press to damage the President for months on end to damage his credibility with those he was supposed to be having private conversations with to embarrass both the President and those he was having conversations with in the media, declaring the Russian collusion story to be legitimate and saying that the President’s son engaged in “treason” against our country, etc.

Why would he care to do that? Bannon invited him there to begin with to give him the access. Bannon has been revealed to be the leaker that kept throwing the White House into chaos. He has been intentionally trying to damage the President and the entire GOP in general...under the guise he’s “taking on the establishment” when in reality he is trying to undermine the President and prop himself up.
Wow I can’t believe how someone can be so evil. We were certainly fooled.
Once the campaign was over, Bannon’s Mercer sponsored imposition on the Trump campaign was over with. Recall that Mercer was backing Cruz. This is how this works. Bannon is whatever he is— he WAS useful in the campaign, as evidenced by the ridiculous claims of his being a 1) anti-Semite 2.)white supremacist... and wait for it “Goldman Sachs” lackey (now why would that bother lefties?). Could be he was a plant, or... could be he was another worker bee, no longer useful to an administration that has moved past him, and has not realized it until now and is too late to cover up idiotic conversation with a fag book writer with known pedigree of complete fakery. And the coup de grace of the “fag” manipulators of media.... Drudge posting that Wolff admits its all a lie, and yesterday runs headline that Breitbart is getting rid of Bannon. This is how it works. Intentionally damaging the GOPe is fine with most conservatives.... to get rid of the interminable Bushies, Priebus’s, Romneybots and other perpetual trough eaters from the other side of the “aisle” in the Uniparty, as long as it does not include Trump— which apparently Bannon has unwisely done— he hutzpah/hubris of self-importance. Breitbart, were he alive, would have though of Bannon, like the thought of Glenn Beck (legendary youtube post about the idiot self-promoter, Beck). Good riddance. New Sheriff in town, with lots of front groups to get outed to drain a large Foggy Bottom/Swamp. Onward the cleansing.
