This infighting helps no one but the Left. If Bannon actually said the things he's quoted as saying, he's got a big mouth and he needs to leash his ego. If he didn't actually say the things he's quoted as saying - and apparently Michael Wolff's book has some obvious falsehoods in it - then Trump has over-reacted wildly and insulted a guy who is on his side.

In either case, some silence would be better for a few days - especially from the president's kids. Comey has just been accused of having leaked classified info to the press by Charles Grassley, and all we're hearing about is this nonsense.

Saint and Fired FBI Director James Comey has a twitter account. He uses to send out what appear to be fortune cookie messages outsourced from China to Hallmark that hint at things in the news of which he is too high minded to speak but which he give Delphic warnings……

Then Senator Chuck Grassley, or whoever manages his twitter account rode to the rescue, subtweeting the hell out of Comey:

Law enforcement shld NOT be independent of constitutional oversight. Like the military, FBI/DOJ accountability to ELECTED leaders is essential for liberty. We are ACCOUNTABLE to the PEOPLE in our representative govt. Hoover FBI was unaccountable/did great harm w abuses of power.
