NK?...........................
Very, very slow start if you ask me. Where are the tanks rolling in the streets? rebel machine gun nests taking out Revolutionary guard positions?
This is Chicago on a lazy summer night.
Yes it looks like the mullahs are starting to bug out. Likely taking all that gold and cash Ofail gave them.
The KFC revolution!
“Does this mean that the Saudi attempt to move away from the Jihad will reverse?”
I don’t think that’ll be the case. I’ve been told by some of my former associates in Washington that there’s some kind of connection between the Las Vegas shooting, Prince al-Waleed, Crown Prince Salman and the transfer of power in Saudi Arabia. Haven’t been able to get any details, but, from what I can piece together, it appears that Trump quietly lowered the boom on the Saudis, who consider Iran their greatest threat.
That aside, the royal family has been coddling the Wahhabis for years and the Wahhabis have, in turn, created a large, loyal following of hardline, fundamentalist Muslims in the Kingdom. If the Wahhabis object to the dilution of Sharia in the Kingdom, Saudi Arabia could very well experience a popular uprising of a far different nature.
Interesting.

There has been so much prosperity for so many Saudi citizens for so long, that any attempt to go back to the tenth century will be met with resistance. Yes, I think the Saudi family run regime is fragile and in need of replacement. Saudi Arabia may indeed go through something like the Iranian revolution. But I don’t see that level of oppression lasting long. As the saying goes, “How will you keep them down on the farm once they’ve seen gay Paree?”
Rising up against their *slamic oppressors in the *slamic republic of iran.
Normally, the left wants the “downtrodden” to rise up against their oppressors. Unless the oppressors are m*slim, in which case they favor the oppression.
Europe, Turkey... who knows where in Africa.
Saudi is not changing course at this point — it is more economic than it is social and religious. Of course, the current ruler is a trained economist that understands the inherent dysfunction of certain social and religious systems.
My bet would be Turkey.
Please Ping me to any articles or sources that you might find about Vegas massacre. I, too, have heard rumours about a Saudi link. I don’t know if there is anything to it but the official story is incomplete and unbelievable.
The Revolution Will Not Be Televised (In the US, that is)
