The perfect person for a Special Counsel would be the current Inspector General, Michael Horowitz. He already knows where most of the bones are buried since he has been doing his own investigation of the DOJ/FBI.
In fact, much of what we see now such as Mueller’s removal of Storch (Sp?) and his emails is a direct result of the Horowitz investigation. The fumes of that investigation are already getting into the rat’s nest and flushing out some of their secrets.
Horowitz would be ready to empanel a grand jury on Day 1 and start presenting evidence. No other Special Counsel appointee would come with that experience and data already in place.
This next month will be very interesting.
