Started the day at -6 then made it to 0 now at -1 on the way to -11 in Olean NY. Gets cold in the valleys inland from Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.
Our family farm is in Friendship so when we visit, we spend a lot of time in Olean (”Weck” at Beef and Barrel!). Mom, 93, living in the old (1830s) farmhouse. We had heat installed in ‘96 so don’t worry as much as we used to when it was just an oil heater in the living room. Glad my brother and family moved in a couple years ago.
