Media Sides with Iran! “Has the Left Ever Been More Morally Bankrupt?”

Some in the media are actually suggesting the Iranian protesters are the terrorists. The mainstream media is siding with Iran. The MSM is protecting the terror nation of Iran as best they can.

Toby Young Extraordinarily one-sided report on the Iranian protests in the @guardian, essentially siding with the regime. Has the left ever been more morally bankrupt? https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/dec/31/protesters-who-spread-fear-and-violence-will-be-confronted-says-iran?CMP=share_btn_tw …

The guardian posted Iranian propaganda in their one-sided article.

Then there is this lie:

Many senior figures within the reformist camp and the opposition Green movement remain perplexed as to how to respond to the current wave of unrest. The sharp nature of some of the slogans, which have challenged the foundations of the Islamic republic, have left them mute.

CNN Quotes Iranian Front Groups

CNN is also doing their part, quoting Iranian front groups like the National Iranian American Council (NIAC), and claiming it’s not a revolution, just a civil rights movement or some angst over economic concerns.

That is similar to the lie coming out of the International Crisis Group as well. They’re funded by George Soros. It’s nothing, not a movement, not a revolution, it’s nothing.

They made it about Trump and his tweet warning Iran. Quoting Trita Parsi of the front group NIAC, “This is not about Trump, and Trump stepping into this is not necessarily helpful, because he doesn’t carry any credibility in Iran.”

Yesterday, CNN quoted the propaganda of the Iranian state news agency Tasmin, even using their cover photo, while they equated pro-government supporters in the streets to the many thousands tearing down Khamenei posters and marching through the streets of cities throughout Iran.

“Crowds of pro-government supporters demonstrated Saturday in Iran after two days of rare anti-government protests which spread to a number of cities,” CNN reported.

“Nearly 2,000 people gathered peacefully in the capital, Tehran, in support of the government’s policies, an eyewitness there said. State-run Iranian broadcasters showed demonstrators waving the Iranian flag at the pro-government rally, which had been scheduled before the anti-government protests broke out. Meanwhile, coverage of the anti-government protests was very limited on state-run media, which referenced them only in passing,” it continued.

They made no mention of the thousands Iran has jailed and the three who have been murdered nor of the ominous threats by Iran officials to anyone who protests.

NY Times Tells Trump to Shut Up

The NY Times also made it about Trump, telling him in a headline to basically shut up – they actually said, “Be Quiet”. Their paragraph minimizing Obama’s support for the regime was particularly deceitful.

They wrote:

Even if Mr. Obama’s support might have somehow been helpful to the Iranian opposition, Mr. Trump’s almost certainly will not be. Whatever Iranians think of their own government, they are unlikely to want as a voice for their grievances an American president who has relentlessly opposed economic relief for their country and banned them from traveling to the United States.

Obama gave them billions in cash and promoted business in Iran. The money is being used for terrorism which is why the people are protesting. They’re suffering while the Mullahs build the bomb, develop their ICBM program and sponsor terrorism throughout the world. They have ignored the Hezbollah story.

The entire article minimized Iran’s guilt and projected fear at the possibility of the President cancelling the absolutely awful Iran nuke deal.

There must be money involved.

Sorry, I disagree. Carter’s abandonment of the Shah may have enabled it in the end but any Islamic action will always be a top-down affair. Populism doesn’t exist in a theocracy.

I still believe it was populism. I remember when Khomeni returned. The crowds went wild! When the unsmiling man reached out and touched one of them in the crowd, the touched persons would go into fits of ecstasy.
The takeover of the US Embassy was done by these same young people.

When the old man died the people went into such a fit of mourning that they pulled his body off the bier and the cameras stopped as his dead body fell to the ground.

Again I figured after 20-30 years of mullah misrule they would be wanting something they once had, LIBERTY.

Before it’s all over we’ll hear the disaffected chanting Trump! Trump! Trump! in Tehran.

Liberals/socialists have always sided with the enemies of the United States.

Be it the Russians, Chinese, North Vietnamese, Cambodians, any mideast dictator etc. Always there to undermine freedom.

“The crowds went wild!”

I bet you are fooled by “the crowds” in North Korea too.

And what about the Soros created, bankrolled and transported “crowds” at his antifa, “immigration” and BLM rallies.

Well...
If you take a look at history, the Left loved Lenin, Stalin, Trotsky, Mussolini, and Hitler. They love the Pali Arabs and the Muzzies.
It is hard to call the Left morally bankrupt because they never had any morals in the first place.

No surprise.
The left always sides with tyranny.
