The little I can add to your writing are brief thoughts on how the left is now running in their parallel universe to become the great protector of the “institutions of democracy” - e.g. the press, FBI, CIA, the judicial system. Of course we know that they themselves and their dignified Obama openly attacked Fox News throughout his terms in office, intervened (obstructing justice?) in the Cambridge police department’s arrest of Professor Gates, and one of the biggest displays of chutzpah ever was Obama’s attacking the US Supreme Court Justices sitting right in front of him during his 2010 State of the Union over Citizens United.
