Fake News has been with us for quite sometime. Recall Dan Rather’s attempt at stealing the 2004 election from George W. Bush with some forged “fake but accurate” memos.
Yes. But in the past week the “narrative” has increased the focus on fear mongering. There are always lies in the media (the media is comprised of lies) but I see a concerted effort to portray the elites as falsely recognizing some dire threat that will require far more than their usual lies and treason to “save us” (put the Deep State and their MSM back in power).
