Which was discovered after the shooting, of course, so an essentially meaningless fact. If he had been armed in his own house, that’s no reason to shoot him.
The problem was that there was no real probable cause. They could have called the house and figured this one out.

Hey c’mon Appy, he made a threatening move! Just ask the cops that were there, they’ll tell you. Interesting how all these innocent unarmed people shot share one thing in common, they all make a movement deemed by the cops to be threatening.

In Kansas you can be armed, almost everywhere. Inside or on your property is covered under the Castle doctrine. We have constitutional carry so you can carry anywhere it is not specifically forbidden, open or concealed, with out special permits or any other BS from border to border. The 2nd Amendment covers it.

But no one in the house owns any guns so he didnt have one on, and got shot for answering the front door because the cops knocked on it anyway.
