This is how you extract overdue documents from agencies who are refusing the rule of law:
Congress tells the rogue agency that they will reduce their federal budgets by $1,000,000 per day, for each and every day that goes by after the document deadline.
When the time is right the documents will be available.
At issue is the protection of the FISA warrant procedure that is secret, protected from enemies. In the interim, it becoming known and proven that there were a handful of individuals that perverted the process to become a politicized weapon.
The revelation is being made in a long drawn out process to prolong the news cycle on the True News media. The Fake News media will not publish the truth until absolutely forced.
Gotta have a Congress that is serious instead of all-mouth.
Maybe this is a stall tactic so the IG has time to prepare its case
That speculation is contrary to Free Reepublic dogmatic doctrine
Damned good idea!
10% of money saved?
Would create multi-millionaires out of people already well paid to do their job.
Just reduce their budget by executive orders.
As for the Sessions dig, it is my guess that Trump and Sessions both think that the longer this drags on the more dirt is uncovered on each of the villains.
For instance, look at the latest on Comey.
And the latest on the wiretaps on Sheriff David Clarke. If all of the bad guys were in jail under the original information we had, the terms of their incarceration would have been less punishing. And many of the supporting players would have skated because we did not know they were involved.
I do believe they will go to jail but as time goes on, the charges will increase by a significant factor.
Manafort the agency. Go in there with federal agents and take the documents. They were asked for politely several times and refused. Now they have no choice. And whoever was in charge of not giving them up as requested goes to prison.
Do that two or three times and you never have to worry about it again.
How real progress works.
nope. You vote contempt of Congress citations against all the perps. Then you send the Capital police to arrest them and take them to Federal jail.
I believe that is the process that is available. Perp walking these guys to jail would be a novelty that would encourage the ones next in line to produce the documents immediately.
If they don’t you follow the same procedure and the swamp begins to drain.
