Why I will never live in an apartment anymore. They are tinderboxes for the irresponsible.
I couldn’t imagine dealing with bugs from sloppy neighbors; here in NJ we have a phenomenon where any multi-family that rents to Indians quickly becomes Indian-only; they refuse to use pesticides for religious reasons, so nothing you do in your own space protects you. I believe “Infested” had an episode where a Canadian woman had that problem in her apartment; one tenant in the whole building refused to bomb on religious grounds. Disgusting...
Lived in one once. Never again. Walls were too thin and banging beds were too annoying.
Yup. Pretty much the same for attached condos. Nearly every night I see apartment and condo buildings go up in flames on our local 11pm news... mostly in poor neighborhoods, but often in middle class to upscale neighborhoods, too.
