Yeah, Ms. Markl, the Hollywood actress, is ‘part vegan’. She gets to feel superior to other people and still eat meat. Also, while she doesn’t want Harry to kill animals (birds in this case) she is fine having other people kill animals so that she can eat meat.
Poor Harry, not even married and she has his testicles stored in a jar somewhere.

My sister eats meat but abhors hunting.
I have always thought that people who eat meat but object to hunting are complete hypocrites.
Particularly because in the case of hunting, the animal is living free until its last minute, whereas pigs, chicken, cows, etc., who are raised for consumption generally are kept in crowded conditions, AFAIK.
There are the occasional irresponsible hunters, but I find that hunters are respectful and conservationist (they don’t want to completely kill off the animals).
My husband used to hunt; he is from a small village in Quebec. There was a female moose who made her way down to the village and began to live there; she was a real tourist attraction. Wouldn’t you know it; the day hunting season opened, some idiots killed her. Those are the kind of people who give hunters a bad name.
But I still think they are rare.
