The FBI has been corrupt since at least Ruby Ridge.
They've been corrupted, but trending beneficially, since J. Edgar Hoover took charge. Leaving the details of his manipulation of Presidents, Senators, and Justices up to you . . . who may not agree with my humble but honest opinion, I remain forthright but respectful.

J Edgar Hoover ran the Bureau of Investigations from 1924-1935.
A more powerful FEDERAL Bureau of Investigations was created in 1935 an Hoover ran the FBI until his death in 1972.
From 1924 to 1972 Hoover amassed information on every president, vice president, congressman, senator, bureaucrat and resident in DC. And he wasn’t above using illegal means to get the dirt he wanted.
He had influence in every administration from Coolidge to Nixon.
I have wondered who was more relieved when Hoover died....the crooks in the mob or the crooks in government?
Some believe Hoover was homosexual but everyone was so afraid of the records he kept on people that no one would out him.
