The NORKS are a long way from getting much BACK from space. When they domonstrate that I am for “protecting” our people.
There are a lot of arm chair generals on this forum who are bloodthirsty. That is not a good mindset from which to wage war.

But with every test, they get closer to a completely reliable weapon, and there will be a time not far off where they will be able to successfully attack another country with an ICBM. I just don’t think waiting until we are at that point makes any sense at all. The can has been kicked dangerously close to the edge of the curb.

If by armchair generals you mean ordinary people who are concerned about being able to continue to live and breathe, they are not bloodthirsty, just self-interested in survival. Actually, the time to have waged the war was in 1950, but with WWII still in the rear view mirror, our leaders decided we’d had enough conflict to last us for awhile. Unfortunately hindsight is always 20/20, but in the intervening 60 years, there have been many, many times when this issue should have been addressed and it was not. Can Kicking 101 has been alive here for far too long. Now, our options are very narrow.
