“I was telling my wife that these formulas in Calculus are the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.”

That’s in Hebrews, right?

;)

I love that phrase (yesterday, today, and forever), but never thought of applying it to math. But, it is so! Newton rocks!

Partner, I really had a good instrument engineer that I worked with and he was like a father to me since my father had also gone and lived through the Great Depression and WWII. He told me that the main reason he got into Electrical Engineering and Mathematics is that the formulas for solving problems do not change. He told me to let that sink in for a few days. He was 100% correct and I was glad to tell him he was 100% correct.

I told my wife that you can not change formulas in Mathematics since they have been proven to be exactly correct and the same goes for engineering formulas.

I left my wife speechless for once. The husband gets to win an argument once in a long while.

I love your line about the book of Hebrews.
