While I am not a fan of legalizing mj the opioid crisis has nothing to do with it. The opioid crisis was created by the federal government. First they made level of pain the “5th vital sign” in hospitals. Then they started patien satisfaction surveys and value based purchasing where hospitals can gain or lose a percentage of their Medicare reimbursement based on those 2 measures. So you pay hospitals to keep people happy penalize them if they aren’t and focus on pain control. What do you think was going to happen?
