As I said a while back, the President has nothing to worry about with Mueller and his ideologues. Give them enough rope slack and they will hang themselves. Ideologues lose any common sense and reason they may have had and they become more desperate as their actions are disclosed. Just look how the agents and DoJ officials have hung themselves. Look at the pincer they find themselves in now. Accusation of animus and public scrutiny are rising, their investigative techniques are being challenged, and they still have not an iota of proof of Russian ‘collusion.’ Democrats have become so nervous about this dud of and investigation that they find it necessary now to try and preempt any thought of Mueller being fired by threatening to “take the streets” should it happen. Mind you, not ‘take to the streets,’ but ‘take the streets.’

I generally agree that there are too many closed hearings. In this case, if done for the right tactical reasons, this prevents the subsequent witnesses from hearing the testimony of the other conspirators. For this to be effective, those testifying should be scheduled very close in time - maybe the same day, and then over several days. Also, if in public, I would expect a greater tendency to use the Lois Lerner defense. It is not perfect to be behind closed doors, as I expect any democrap on any of the committees to help the witnesses in some manner, including via leaks to the MSM, etc.

I take no joy in reading about the validation of the swamp stench, especially the depth of the corruption that is present in the DOJ and FBI. Obama is responsible for this. He will not be held accountable for at least a generation, but I remain concerned, yet hopeful that our institutions will survive because Trump was elected in 2016. When I am no longer on this earth, historians will write truthfully about Obama’s corrupt, criminal, and unconstitutional administration.
