Not asking for sympathy for them. But I give families a wide berth because by and large, they can't control what other members do. It's called grace. I also know the same things happen right here. And it will get worse, particularly as they become the enforcers for the drug cartels. The bigger issue which goes straight over your head is this is coming to America and will not be excised unless Americans wake up. That was my original point, that is the gold, and I stand by it.

I am unfamiliar with any MS-13 member that has not committed multiple offenses. You RICO them, and open up cooperation to take down the syndicate, make it incredibly unattractive to join, and you put the hardcore members away. You are approaching it from a standard illegal alien standpoint. It isn't. It will take a disciplined, national effort to root them out.

Please don't opine on government oppression "down there." You already proved you see the world through Kansas eyes. Obama did more to oppress Hondurans than any of the two major parties in the last 20 years. And BTW, it was the people who freely elected the FMLN in power in El Sal, and Honduras freely elected Zelaya. What is this oppression "down there" you speak of? You have major cultural and geopolitical intelligence gaps.

I sent you the article in good faith. I didn't vouch for every other detail-- because I know more truth than what the article states. In fact, I never read the article before. Why would I? We dealt with it as a family, and sent cash for the funerals. The article doesn't offer anything other than they were killed together after being lured there by the kidnapping of their friend (yes, it affected more than one family- and in barrio life, everyone knows everyone). And not one stepped forward. You are the one that had so much distrust and wanted to see an article, so I obliged.

Typical American, you've been watching too many movies. And it shows. There is nothing secret about working in intelligence. I'm not a case officer. I tell people directly what I do-- there is nothing to hide. The government of Honduras is well aware I'm in intel. And several other countries for that matter. What are they going to do about it? Not a damn thing.

The difference between us is I live in the real world with real experience. You live in a fantasy constructed by ignorance.

No problem. If that is all you got them on them when they're picked up, deport them. No problem at all. And as far as it not doing any good deporting these people, no sale. Most all those people are cataloged, they know they're extended families, associates, friends, girlfriends etc on the U.S. side of the border. If they want to do the gangs bidding once most of them are deported, they too will pay a big price.

And you speak as if this is something new. There have been lots of issues here with these little criminal for years . If you're ignorant enough to think the Trump years are going to be a boon for MS13 in the U.S., I can't help ya.

And it seems it was the The Los Angeles Times who contended that deportation policies have contributed to the size and influence of the gang both in the United States and in Central America.

It's right there in Wikipedia...lol

The LA Times, really?☺

And the bottom line is once we deport most of them, it’ll be their problem again. If they think they can get some old friends to do their bidding up here, they too will be dealt with because they’re likely already known associates.

Can all crime be stopped? No. But you can sure as hell put a dent in it. Just watch what happens during the Trump years. These AH’s have been coddled. That’s over slick.
