Of course the heavy lifting was winning the election and throwing out the Obama/Clinton gang including Lynch, Rice etc.

I believe Sessions, Rosenstein, Wray, Mueller and IG Horowitz are going to be seen as patriotic heroes when this is done and the Clinton/Obama gang has fallen hard.

I won’t deny the possibility. But you should recognize that on Good Old FR your theory would get but one vote - yours. We don’t know enough about Wray and Horowitz yet so you have a pretty good shot there. If a miracle happens and Mueller turns into a hero then Rosenstein would naturally get credit for selecting him and Sessions would be forgiven over time.

I give it about one chance in 20.

I think you can rule out Rosenstein. I originally thought he was "ok", but... Did you watch his testimony this week? Unless there is some extraordinarily arcane plan here which involves him looking as much like he's lying as possible, he IS lying. About 98% of FReepers can figure it out themselves, just by watching, for the other 2%, search on You Tube for "Body Language: Rosenstein Mueller Expansion ".
