Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe will appear next Tuesday before the House Intelligence Committee, where Republicans on the panel are likely to grill him about Justice Department official Bruce Ohr and FBI agent Peter Strzok.
McCabe was originally scheduled to appear before the committee earlier this week, but the session was cancelled the night before the interview.

The Founders gave Congress the power of the purse. That should be the ultimate power.
The Founders could not imagine the Republic surviving at all with such feckless members of Congress put there by feckless voters.
Bets are that McCabe won’t be working for the FBI this time next week and will have been disappeared.....
This must be why he hasn’t yet been fired. Too bad for him that he wasn’t smart enough to “retire” to a non-extradition country.
The more I read about the FBI mess, the Clintons and the corrupt MSM and the attempt to torpedo Trump’s presidency, the more I am convinced that a Higher Power is looking out for America’s well-being.
He won’t say a thing: He has at least two investigations to hide behind, and the Congressmen will roll over.
McCabe will politely and calmly deflect all questions by responding that the questions can only be answered before the intelligence committee or that he cannot comment until the ongoing IG investigation is concluded.
The bigger question is why on earth is he still the Deputy Director.
I guess they’re redefined the word “cryptic.” The texts were not cryptic by the standard definition. They were quite clear.
GRILLED???? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! He will barely be sautéed!! Our side are nothing but ankle biters!!! SAD!!
Your swamp rat wife received half a million dollars to run from the Hillary linked Democrats, if this ethical Mr. Swamp rat? Why didn’t you recuse yourself Mr. Rat from any of these cases?
I like this one...or hanging.
“The Founders gave Congress the power of the purse.”
True. But you still need armed muscle to protect the purse from the executive bureaucrats who are stealing it.
I think you can rule out Rosenstein. I originally thought he was "ok", but... Did you watch his testimony this week? Unless there is some extraordinarily arcane plan here which involves him looking as much like he's lying as possible, he IS lying. About 98% of FReepers can figure it out themselves, just by watching, for the other 2%, search on You Tube for "Body Language: Rosenstein Mueller Expansion ".
Yes, I watched 100% of Rosenstein’s testimony.
I found it completely consistent with a law enforcement professional with no intention of talking about an investigation in progress.
But ALL the innuendos said the targets are not who the Congressmen all assume they are.
So ... I don’t know if that puts me in a 2% category ... but, the way I see it Rosenstein is doing EXACTLY WHAT TRUMP WANTS him too.
Playing to the long game to WIN, while the President chums the water with his Tweets.
BS! Rosenrod appointed an obviously biased special counsel within 24 hours of being legally able to, because a few rag tag Democrats were asking for it.
Yet, now, with the President stating the the FBI's reputation is in tatters specifically due to the newly disclosed bias of Mueller's team, and both his Congressional oversight committees calling for a new special counsel, Rosenstein says he sees no reason to.
For you to call this fair and equal justice, much less claim this is what the President wants, is obviously ridiculous.
