I understand but we can walk and chew gum at the same time. Those systems are broken and need to be fixed. I am taxed over and beyond many tens of thousands and letting me keep $6,000 for my children’s benefit is in no way depriving anyone else.
Don’t punish EVERYONE because some people have broken the law. Reform welfare and get the illegals OUT! Don’t use the tax bill to punish all families.

Sorry, but you simply don’t understand the “issue” Little Marco wants to foist on us. WITHOUT Little Marco’s change included you’ll get your $6,000 reduction (2K per child) in the taxes you have to pay. He’s not the originator of the credit. Little Marco wants to give “refunds” for taxes not paid and not limited to the reduction of taxes otherwise “due”.
I’ve had my share of kids And would have even more if my wife was willing — which she is not. And the first “wave” of my kids are giving us grandchildren.
Please study this issue a little more to increase your understanding of it.
No! I don't have kids. I do pay to send several to school and pay for their meals. Why should I pay you to have kids you don't seem to be able to support without Government assistance which I also pay for in higher taxes!
