Given the timing of the releases from the IGs investigation, I think thats what we are seeing in the past two weeks. A prosecutor laying out his case over the course of multiple media cycles.

Except the media is ignoring it.
They probably won’t even report on it until someone is convicted.
Just a few musings off the top of my head. I don’t pretend to be an expert on law enforcement except for occasionally covering police and court news during my 25 years as a newspaperman.
As a citizen, I believe the time has come to ask ourselves: To what degree does the FBI make Americans safer, and at what cost?
Based on what we’ve seen through the Mueller investigation, I believe that the FBI has outlived its usefulness and should be disbanded, with some departments eliminated entirely and others spun off like in a corporate divestiture.
Why can’t we get creative and find some means of devolving the individual field offices to the control of the states?
Where in the Constitution is there any provision for a national police force?
The FBI’s function as a clearing house for crime information could be transferred to a public-private entity controlled by member states and supported out of their budgets.
At least someone (or some ones) is doing his/her job.
