I have read a story about what it is like to be dying of glioblastoma. It was written by a mom whose son died of it at the age of 14. Michael Norton was a very bright boy who sang as a chorister at Guildford Cathedral in the UK. The story will almost break your heart. It also shows how a nationalized health care system works - you must wait even if you are seriously ill.

I don’t wish cancer on anyone. Having cancer and dealing with nationalized health care would truly be a nightmare. One of the aspects of nationalized health care that infuriates me is it is only for the serfs, the elites get premium health care, avoiding the consequences of their actions and votes.

On the plus side, McCain is very unlikely to serve out his term. It is time for us to consider who we could support for his replacement. While our governor is a pubbie elite, even they can be influenced. I will have to start thinking about this. Maybe we could get conservatives to stop fighting over Flake’s seat? Hmmm.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
