With the Senate in the balance, half of 2016 Trump voters stayed home.

Jones got nearly the same amount of votes Hillary Clinton got in 2016, but Moore got only just over half of the votes Trump got in 2016.
In sum, Dems got out to vote, but Trump’s voters simply didn’t show up.

Voter turn out for the 2017 Moore-Jones election was about 40%.
To: cmj328
Alabama was too busy Tuesday to show up and check the box for our freedom and lower taxes.
Just wow.

Who predicted that?

Deals were struck. Moore was not going to win no matter how many votes. The stink is strong on this.

Sessions got 1,305,383 votes (63.36%) in 2008, 795,606 (97.25%) in 2014. Moore got 650,436 votes (48.4%). It wasn’t the 22,819 write in votes, it was the creepy sexual history.

I don't trust that the democrats turned out in presidential election year numbers, while less than half of those who showed up to vote for Mitt Romney in Alabama stayed home. Alabama is a 20+% red state. This smells fishy.

LEt’s be fair.
The dems outspent the Rs by a 7 to 1 margin.
The Dem controlled mass media attacked Roy 7days/week 24/day on every outlet, full time for over two months.
The GOPe spent 30 MILLION in the primary to kill him off. The RNC spent piss-all to support Roy.
So, ya, the Dem “Won”. I mean, how the hell could he lose?
I lay the loss of a R seat in the Senate right at the feet of Bitch’n Mitch McConnel.
Finally,

BS - it was the lies of his sexual history that Sessions never had to put up with.
Get used to it though - the Democrats will use it against every GOP candidate from now on AND they’ll use it to impeach Trump or to disqualify him in 2020.
And you won’t vote for Trump then will you, because you’re an upstanding citizen who listens to the propaganda, right?
