This is such a mess. President Trump should have *never* picked Sessions to be AG. Sessions should still be Senator. Look at the mess we’re in because of that. GRR!

NEVER take a sitting Senator, from YOUR own side, as a cabinet post.

I already stated on this thread I blame Sessions for this, first and foremost, fornaccepting the job of AG because it was his “dream job” even though he knew he was likely going to recuse himself from the biggest issues facing the administration.

Secondly, I blame Senstor Shelby from Alabama, who along with Sessions said he wasn’t voting for Moore, and suggested voters write in other candidates, which they did in enough numbers to throw the election to Jones.

Hindsight is 20/20.

I assume they originally were comfortable that Alabama would continue to elect republicans.
