He would not have resigned no matter what. I’m thinking the Franken resigning idea was concocted by himself AND the female Congress people who demanded that he resign, in order to set the stage to go after Trump, which happened yesterday. Franken and Trump aren’t going anywhere, but Trump’s job just got more difficult tonight.
No, if Moore were elected, it would have been Franken immunity. But unfortunately for poor old Al, the voters of Alabama sent him home.
