Right. She’s not a well known authority on the subject.
They obviously hired her because of who her husband was. I’ve no doubt it will come out she was an election year opposition research (Trump) hire. It will be interesting to see if they kept her on staff after the election and what she did then.
It looks like she has an academic background, probably history, with a Ph.D. from Stanford:
