I want to throw a “theoretical turd” into the GPS-Steele collusion story, since everything we’ve learned so far is beyond most John LeCarre’ spy novels plots and themes.

Christopher Steele. He has been reported as Britain’s top spy catcher (i.e. counter-intelligence agent), an FBI nformant”, a liaison to Fusion GPS, etc. And his “contacts” in Russia for the Trump Dossier have largely been ignored or unidentified though some reports refer to them as possibly Soviet agents (i.e. old KGB or newer SFV, etc), close to Putin or his people, etc.

Until Steele gets grilled by well trained U.S. specialists on Soviet operations, we may never know who Steele is, or is working for.

Here’s the Turd (without any basis in fact to claim that he is not who he has been said to be, but, this is purely a conspiracy world conspiracy proposition).

Suppose Steele is/was a Soviet double agent. Suppose he was a Kremlin guy long before he became a British MI6 agent (and reportedly rose to the top of their counter-Soviet operations bureau).

This would explain his seemingly fruitful efforts to get the “dirt” on Trump from his “Soviet/Russian contacts” (who had to have been, at least some of them, KGB/SFV, or GRU agents themselves).

What better way for Moscow to affect the 2016 presidential election than to have the Democrats make up a fake “collusion” scheme for Trump and Putin than to have it created by the Kremlin itself and funneled through a trusted British ex-intelligence agent/spy to a largely unknown leftist propaganda operation known as Fusion GPS (whose members really need to be investigated, going back at least 20 years or more. Just because its founder, Simpson, wrote for the Wall Street Journal, doesn’t mean he was who people thought he was.

Hell, the New York Times and Wash. Post, as well as lessor papers, had both Soviet agents, Soviet dupes, and Soviet/communist sympathizers writing in their pages for decades going back at least to Walter Duranty in the 1930’s.

Real: The Obituary Page editor for the NYT, Alden Whitman, was a member of the Communist Party USA for about 12 years, by his own congressional testimony, and was “favorably” looked upon by the Party to (paraphrasing here), “write well of the Left dead”. The source for this quote was a CPUSA publication, probably their theoretical journal “Political Affairs”. A short story about this appeared in an edition of “The Pink Sheet on the Left” in the 1970’s, as I recall.

The friendly obits for such CPUSA/Soviet operatives as Paul Robeson and Hugh Mulzac, among many, looked as though they were written by the Party itself and then rewritten by Whitman. (A story about Robeson’s secret CPUSA/KGB identification was published in the “AIM Bulletin” (Accuracy in Media Bulletin) in 1977 (this should be the correct year).

(This also happens to many obits in the Wash. Post about communists and local DC area activists who never revealed that they were secret members of the CPUSA (and some were suspected Soviet spied during WW2). Even local DC suburban papers often never told the truth about their “dead reds” such as Dr. Alfred Henley and his gang.

Do you remember a Wall Street columnist named Kwitney? Just read his stuff and you’ll come to only one conclusion - that he was a communist sympathizer by design or by being totally duped). NYT’s columnist Anthony Lewis followed the Moscow/Hanoi line in many of his columns (no, not all read like communist propaganda, but some of his key ones did).

There were other journalists/writers/columnists in the NYT, the WP, and other newspapers or as TV correspondents (i.e. Lionel Martin, Havana, CBS - hardcore communist all his life), who were never questioned about their biased writings (for example, Karen De Young, now the foreign editor of the WP, for her pro-Sandinista coverup stories about how they weren’t really Marxists, only a small faction within the FSLN leadership - but all 9 of the commandants openly admitted that they were Communists/Marxists of several orientations - Castroite/Soviet and Maoist).

Jack Anderson, leftist Drew Pearson’s collaborator/successor, published on several occasions materials written by the CPUSA (about the Castro propaganda operation known as the TriContinental Center) and how the Sandinistas weren’t communists (paralleling Karen DeYoung’s writing, also in the Post).

So why couldn’t Steele be a Soviet disinformation operator? His “Dossier” did a tremendous amount of harm to the U.S. election process, made fools out of liberals, anti-Trump Republicans, most of the mainstream media, and helped to cripple the new incoming administration from cleaning house of Democrat Party operatives, deep-state subverters, and dupes.

Again, this is all speculation, but damned, if what we know now about the Steele Dossier, Fusion GPS, the Clinton Foundations and their ties to Russia, the RussianOne sell-out by Hillary and the whole Obama intelligence leadership, the Iranian $150 Billion bribe, plus some $140 Million dollar small change gift to the Mad Mullahs in Teheran, the CNN fake stories about Russian collusion, Triumph Jr and Kushner fake collusion stories, etc, then WHY NOT LOOK AT THE STEELE DOSSIER AND THE MAN as a possible Russian created operation (with Steele’s collusion or just being a dupe, which begs the question of why was he England’s top counterintelligence guy to begin with?).

Unravel (or like the Soviet onion) unpeel Steele and see what we find.

Gee, aren’t conspiracy theories great. And why not? I read them all the time in the New York Times and Washington Post. If they are printed there, then they must be “real”, or at least in the demented minds of Democrats, Lockstep Liberals, the Lemming Liberal followers of the DP, much of the media, academia, and even among some clergy of good and ill repute.

Say it isn’t so, Joe. But, as Clara Peller used to say, “Show Me the Meat” (updated to today as “Show Me The Collusion”). Ms. Peller asked the questions our mainstream media clowns and leftists will never ask, about anything that will expose the Left.

Clara, Where Are You? We Need You Now!

Meanwhile, remember, a little paranoia keeps you sharp and alert to reality.

No one gave Trump a chance against Hillary. Even days before the election, the polls overwhelming gave Hillary an easy victory. Why would the Russians back someone with very little chance of winning?

The Russian influence on the election is a phony narrative that started with the DNC and Hillary. It began right after the Wikileaks revelations. Robbie Mook was on the Sunday shows blaming the Russians for hacking the DNC and Podesta servers. It blossomed into a full blown conspiracy after election day.

IMO the intel community was dead set against Flynn being the director of the NSC. He was the number one target because they believed he was a loose cannon and a maverick. Brennan, Clapper, and Comey orchestrated much of it. Taking out Trump as well was just the cherry on top.
