But it was published in USA Today.
Is that not significant?
We expect these thoughts to be published in Gateway Pundit, but when they start appearing in USA Today, you have to think that the tide might be starting to turn.
Bruce Ohr’s wife Nellie Ohr is, or has been, with the friggin’ CIA !!!!!!!!!!!!
Charter of Open Source Org is Classified, CIA Says
Posted on Dec.12, 2011 in Secrecy by Steven Aftergood
Open Source Works, which is the CIAs in-house open source analysis component, is devoted to intelligence analysis of unclassified, open source information. Oddly, however, the directive that established Open Source Works is classified, as is the charter of the organization. In fact, CIA says the very existence of any such records is a classified fact.
The CIA can neither confirm nor deny the existence or nonexistence of records responsive to your request, wrote Susan Viscuso, CIA Information and Privacy Coordinator, in a November 29 response to a Freedom of Information Act request from Jeffrey Richelson of the National Security Archive for the Open Source Works directive and charter.
The fact of the existence or nonexistence of requested records is currently and properly classified and is intelligence sources and methods information that is protected from disclosure, Dr. Viscuso wrote.
This is a surprising development since Open Source Works by definition does not engage in clandestine collection of intelligence. Rather, it performs analysis based on unclassified, open source materials.
Thus, according to a November 2010 CIA report, Open Source Works was charged by the [CIA] Director for Intelligence with drawing on language-trained analysts to mine open-source information for new or alternative insights on intelligence issues. Open Source Works products, based only on open source information, do not represent the coordinated views of the Central Intelligence Agency.
As such, there is no basis for treating Open Source Works as a covert, unacknowledged intelligence organization. It isnt one.
(Even if Open Source Works were engaged in classified intelligence analysis, the idea that its charter must necessarily be classified is a non-sequitur. Illustrating the contrary proposition, the Department of Defense last week issued a new Instruction on Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), setting forth the policies governing that largely classified intelligence domain.)
Beyond that, it is an interesting question why the CIA felt the need to establish such a unit given the existence of the DNI Open Source Center, said Dr. Richelson. The Open Source Center, the successor to the Foreign Broadcast Information Service, is the U.S. Governments principal open source agency. It is, naturally, a publicly acknowledged organization.
An even more interesting question, he added, is why would the CIA, whose DI [Directorate of Intelligence] organization structure is published on its website, feel it necessary to refuse to confirm or deny the existence of this new open source component?
The CIAs extreme approach to classification policy is timely in one sense: It provides a convenient benchmark for evaluating current progress in combating overclassification.
If the charter of CIAs Open Source Works remains classified six months from now, when the Obama Administrations Fundamental Classification Guidance Review will have completed its first cycle, that will be a decisive indication that the Review failed to eliminate even the most blatant examples of overclassification.
I read about Morell earlier as well. Fascinating to me, not because he has political views, but that he seems to have not grasped the danger posed by Hillary Clinton. I can only assume he’s so entrenched in the swamp he’s unable to see. It never dawned on him apparently how Trump might react to the treatment he’s received. One of those unforseen consequences...
Corrupt to the bone.
“What a tangled web we weave when we practice to deceive”.
Lies and deceit in every direction. It’s no mistake. This is not happenstance. We’ve all been gamed, conned and looted by both parties for decades. The GOP needs to do the right thing from here forward. No one is buying the bull s**t anymore.
Maybe we’ll see these people and other major players held responsible for years of lies and fraud. Everyone out in real world are held responsible for everything. All the way down to parking infractions. Everything we deal with has, “Under penalty of perjury” stamped on it.
It’s getting near time.
excuse the all caps, folks, but .....
BRUCE OHR’S WIFE NELLIE OHR HAS A WORK HISTORY WITH THE CIA !!!!!!!!
(see my comment above based upon the outstanding finds by “Blogger”)
Who has ping lists to get this info out fast?? please....
This calls for maximum FReeper research and media contacts asap.
The stuff is hitting the fan and excrement is flying all over.
CIA-FBI-DeptJustice-FusionGPS all intricately linked with “dirty dossier” and the “resistance” against POTUS Trump.
“Deep State” fingerprints all over FusionGPS, the “dirty dossier”.... and Bruce Ohr in the upper reaches of the Dept. of Justice holding meetings with FusionGPS as his own WIFE did paid work for FusionGPS during 2016 !!!
All: Don’t mean to hijack thread, but Deep State related.
Mukasey also said Morell should be asked to explain his post-CIA career decisions which closely align him with former Secretary of State Hillary Clintons aides. After retiring from the CIA, Morell joined Beacon Global Strategies as a counselor.Fox News was first to report on the connections between Beacons founding partners, Morell, Clinton and the House Intelligence Committee.
Morell, who also is a national security analyst for CBS News and has a book deal, joined the Beacon firm after retiring from the CIA last year. In doing so, he joined an organization already stacked with ex-government officials. Among them is Philippe Reines, whom the New York Times magazine recently described as Clintons principal gatekeeper. According to Beacons website, Reines traveled to more than 110 countries with the then-Secretary of State as part of her senior team.
Another employee, Jeremy Bash, was a former chief of staff to Leon Panetta at both the CIA and Defense Department. Andrew Shapiro was a Clinton policy adviser at the State Department whose portfolio included ridding Libya of shoulder-launched missiles called MANPADs.
And it includes Republican J. Michael Allen, who was a former majority staff director for the House Intelligence Committee, headed by Republican Rep. Mike Rogers.
MICHAEL J. MORELL
Beacon Global Strategies LLC (BGS) is a Washington, DC-based strategic advisory firm founded by partners Michael Allen, Jeremy Bash, Philippe Reines, and Andrew Shapiro in 2013. According to the firms website, Beacon Global Strategies specializes in matters of international policy, foreign affairs, national defense, cyber, intelligence, and homeland security.
A September 2013 article in Defense News, describes Beacon Global Strategies as unique for a Washington consulting firm because of its partners intent to eventually return to government. The article noted that Part of the confidence in future public service may stem from a combination of significant titles and relative youth, paired with the fact that most of the founders of the firm have ties to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who may be a presidential favorite heading into the 2016 election if she decides to run.
A September 2013 Washington Post profile of Beacon Global Strategies highlighted the firms bipartisan make up: We want to build bipartisan support for solutions to complex national security problems, Bash said, noting that cooperation between Democrats and Republicans on these issues has been lacking in recent years.
Before founding Beacon Global Strategies, the four partners served in a variety of government positions:
Michael Allen served as Majority Staff Director of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI), under Chairman Mike Rogers (R-MI) from 2011-2013. He previously served in the George W. Bush White House. Allen is the author of Blinking Red: Crisis and Compromise in American Intelligence after 9/11 (Potomac Books Inc. September 2013).
Jeremy Bash was the only Obama Administration official to have served as Chief of Staff in two national security departments or agencies: first as Chief of Staff to the Director of the CIA (2009-2011) and most recently as Chief of Staff to the Secretary of Defense (2011-2013). Philippe Reines is a long-time Senior Advisor to former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.
From 2009-2013, Reines served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Strategic Communications and Senior Communications Advisor. Reines served from 2002-2009 as Senior Advisor & Press Secretary for Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Andrew Shapiro is the former and longest serving Senate confirmed United States Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs (2009-2013). During the presidential transition of Barack Obama, Shapiro was a member of the Obama-Biden Department of Defense Agency Review Team, and during the 2008 presidential election, a member of Hillary Clintons campaign, advising on foreign affairs.
WASHINGTON Consulting groups are routinely a place where former public servants are put out to pasture, a last stop to conclude careers built on senior government positions. But a group of former senior officials is building a new firm, Beacon Global Strategies, while retaining an additional goal.
They all want to go back into government.
Part of the confidence in future public service may stem from a combination of significant titles and relative youth, paired with the fact that most of the founders of the firm have ties to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who may be a presidential favorite heading into the 2016 election if she decides to run.
Benghazi critics hit lobbying firm
Revolving door from public to private sector
Government watchdogs and a veteran congressman are sharply criticizing a bipartisan consulting firm formed by a trio of former Obama administration insiders and the former staff director of the House Intelligence Committee, whose Republican chairman opposes a select committee in the deadly September 2012 attack on the U.S. diplomatic outpost in Benghazi.
J. Michael Allen resigned from the committee in August to join Beacon Global Strategies with Phillipe Reines, spokesman for former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton; former Assistant Secretary of State Andrew Shapiro; and Jeremy Bash, chief of staff to former CIA director and Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta.
The firm will specialize in foreign affairs, national defense and homeland security. Mr. Panetta, a Clinton ally, is its first client.
More here from the link (but watch video also). It didnt get enough coverage:
The Fox News report by Catherine Herridge notes that ***one month*** after Allen interviewed Morell about the Benghazi attack in May 2013, Beacon approached him to hire him. Allen was then one of the most senior GOP officials on the issue and Morell the deputy director at the CIA.....
J. Michael Allen is the founder and managing director of Beacon Global Strategies. He previously served as the staff director for the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, chaired by GOP Rep. Mike Rogers of Michigan and perhaps the most important panel investigating Benghazi.
Allens new business partners at Beacon include:
Philippe Reines, a dyed-in-the-wool Clinton hatchet man who worked for Clinton from 2002 until founding Beacon
Andrew Shapiro, a former top State Department official (under Clinton) and senior policy adviser to Clinton
Josh Kirshner, a former top State Department official under Clinton who also worked for her as a Senate aide in 2006
Ashley Woolheater, who previously led a team responsible for crafting and executing the strategic media goals of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at the State Department
Jeremy Bash, a former chief of staff to Leon Panetta at the Defense Department and CIA under President Obama
Julianne Smith, a former top aide to Vice President Joe Biden
Sarah Davey, a former aide to Michelle Obama who helped craft the Lets Move! initiative
Meredith Steen, a low-level Democratic aide who interned for Democrat James Moran
PS: Greetings Ad-guy. Hope you are well. Missing you and the other ever-witty freepers on the Levin thread.

High ranked @TheJusticeDept official met with Trump dossier creator - Steele BEFORE the election and Fusion GPS founder ... right after the election. Thats odd. Why would the Justice Department hold meetings with #FusionGPS? #FBICoverUp #DOJ #BruceOhr #OHR #RodRosenstein
The founders of Fusion GPS cut their research teeth in investigative journalism for prominent American and British publications. A Vanity Fair story on the Christopher Steele dossier reports that Fusion GPS was founded by Glenn Simpson, a former investigative reporter with The Wall Street Journal known for his tenacity, meticulousness, cynicism obsession with operational secrecy.
BREAKING: FBI Dep.Atty General Bruce Ohr (Whose Office Is 3 Doors Down From Rod Rosenstein) Met With Russian Dossier Author Michael Steele Before The Election. Bruce Ohr Then Met With FusionGPS’s Founder Glenn Simpson The Day After Trump’s Election. Bruce Ohr’s Boss: Sally Yates.

Yes, my FRiend, you have found what looks like an enormously important thread with your post above about Nellie Ohr working for “Open Source Works”
That is the CIA’s office for analyzing non-classified materials, but they seem to keep its work and very existence mostly obscure and under wraps.
Nellie Ohr working for the CIA, at least in the past, and then for FusionGPS...... her husband Bruce Ohr high up in the Dept of Justice and holding secretive meetings with FusionGPS.....
Of course, many people reportedly continue to have some affiliation with the CIA even if they shift into the “private sector”....
YOU, sir, have taken a big step toward possibly unravelling this whole tangled mess.
It’s probably best for Mr. Ohr to cooperate and become talkative. Otherwise, it gets much worse for him.
Told you they were spies in a sham marriage ;)
Mike morrell is a criminal in my view. He was a deep state Hillary whore.
in case you missed it..
ha ha..... well they are certainly looking like spies of some kind!! Maybe “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” except that they know about each other’s work.....
“Open Source Works, which is the CIAs in-house open source analysis component, is devoted to intelligence analysis of unclassified, open source information.”
I would have guessed one of Soros’ front groups. Soros...CIA what’s the difference, immirite?
“They want Trump gone just as bad as the Democrats do.”
All we need now is a report of Forrest Strzok meeting with Fusion GPS and/or Ohr to wrap this all up.
And look at Blogger’s post 218, where Glenn Simpson was working with Bruce Ohr before and working for the International Assessment and Strategy Center.
