I think this cop would have shot you for noncompliance with orders. The epitome is the Costco parking lot killing where two cops gave conflicting orders and the order that was obeyed got the fellow killed by the other cop. The police involved all got paid vacations and eventually the shooter got some sort of medal.

Yup. The lesson there was just as a poster upthread mentioned:
Keep you hands in the air and don’t move. They really can’t make a case to shoot you if your arms are outstretched and you aren’t moving.
Make them disarm you. Keep you hands in sight and well clear of your weapon. You may get handled rough and get a little curb rash, but it’s much better than the alternative.
