Democrat Doug Jones holds a 10-point lead over Republican Roy Moore among likely voters in deep red Alabama.
Greater party loyalty plus higher interest in the election among Democrats combined with more enthusiasm among Jones supporters gives him the advantage in the race to fill the U.S. Senate seat previously held by U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
Thats according to a Fox News Poll of Alabama voters conducted Thursday through Sunday using traditional polling techniques, including a list-based probability sample with both landlines and cellphones.
Jones receives 50 percent to Moores 40 percent, with 1-in-10 undecided (8 percent) or supporting another candidate (2 percent) -- which could make a difference Tuesday. Thats even truer with such an unconventional election with unconventional candidates.

Jones would have to have Obama like turnout from the Blacks to win and it isn’t going to happen.
Or cover up vote-fraud, as the Democrats and Republican Establishment cooperate to throw the election to Jones.
Alabama is a Red State, they aren’t going to steal the election.
I’m thinking Moore supporters will be out to vote no matter what the fake news reports are saying. They are still angry at any democrat and should be taking the attacks against Moore as an attack against the Republic and themselves.
And it will quickly disappear when Jones gets trounced by double digits. Fox will end up firing this firm.
Fox goes fake, prepping for a Jones vote fraud victory

On the other hand, if Moore wins we will see if Franken's word is worth a d***.
Nah, it’s just to drum up ratings to make it seem closer than it really is.
I think this poll is way off.
95% chance of Doug Jones winning is what I take away from the article.
Based on history that’s unbelievably good news for Judge Moore.
They are in for a shock!
Good stuff, the clowns at Politico trying to explain the anomaly in the poll without giving it’s dopey readers a link to see the demographics in the actual poll. It’s almost like they are trying to hide the sample or something like that..

Even Fox Business has become unwatchable. Stuart Varney needs to STFU and actually report business news, for example.
See my #54. I really don’t think they attempt to model the population at all, they have a customer who is paying them to produce a certain outcome and they deliver. They may fiddle the weighting or sampling, or they may just flat-out make it up. It’s not illegal, it’s just a business and there are no ethical or legal standards governing polling (or more accurately, PR) companies.
Any business who hires marketing professionals to communicate the merits of their product does the same thing, but everyone knows it’s spin, hype, PR, advertising, BS - whatever you wish to call it. However when they attach the word “poll”, it somehow acquires some kind of magical validity.
I reject that. Polls are just a tool for influencing people under the guise of science. (Think “global warming hockey stick curve”).
And yet the Emerson College Poll puts Moore at +9. Fox must be waaaay off.
Fox News: “Democrat Doug Jones holds a 10-point lead over Republican Roy Moore among likely voters in deep red Alabama.”
And then there’s this:
Emerson: “A new Emerson Poll released on Monday shows that conservative Republican Roy Moore has increased his lead over liberal Democrat Doug Jones to 9 points, 53 percent to 44 percent, in tomorrows special election for the Alabamas U.S. Senate seat” (http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/12/11/commanding-lead-gop-judge-roy-moore-storms-out-to-9-point-lead-over-radical-democrat-doug-jones/)
Who to believe? That’s a 19 point discrepancy.
The Fox poll definitely goes against the most recent polls, which show Moore slowly building momentum and increasing his lead.
Should be an interesting night tomorrow evening.
This poll over samples Democrats by 5 points and under samples Republicans by 10%.
FOXNEWS polls have been very inaccurate for the past 2 years.
Agreed. Their morning panel were besides themselves this morning over the Fox poll. NYC republicrats,
