Does the journalist think that only tourists are in the area? Or are they the only ones who would be “terrified?” Here are the facts:

Approximately 3.1 million people are in Manhattan during the work day, compared to a residential population of 1.6 million people at night.

But it’s Christmas season, big retail and tourism bucks. And a lot of folks spending are visitors.

Yeah, Port Authority is more of a commuter hub than a tourist attraction.
