Our high today (Montana) is supposed to be 50ish, haven’t been below freezing at night since before Thanksgiving

Is this not about the time of year when you get the Santa Anna winds - worm, hot and strong

Sorry, Santa Anna winds mainly occur in Southern California.

...OTOH, those Californicators keep running off to their latest “Nirvana” dragging every other bad habit they’ve developed, Montana (at least the Western Mountains) has been real popular (at least until the first Real Montana Winter), so I guess some fool will try to drag their weather problems along as well.
