I used to frequent a place in San Diego called Western Steak Burger.
It is gone now and So are Gus and Maria.

Gus was greek and Maria was Spanish, AMERICANS

The Western Steak Burger was a 1/4 lb burger with 1/4 lb of Gyro meat shaved on it
Wedges of lemon to squeeze over the fries

Maria always rotisseried chickens

Greek salad, Moussaka, Spanikopita, Souvlaki.. all on a sailors paycheck
