Newt flummoxed Wallace with his statement, that Franken is victim of a witchhunt...politically motivated to clear the decks and hypocricy for Moore attacks. Newt wouldn't play partisan hack....I agree with him. Franken is not deserving of resignation yet, and is currently expendable...Dayton replaces with a reliable socialist.

IF Franken does indeed resign. He'd like to reconsider after the Moore kerkuffle hits the senate chambers.

Wallace uses the Dem talking points that the Trump supporters are trying to take down Mueller because he is “closing in” on Trump and the top members of his team. Even Stevie Wonder can see how stacked and biased the Mueller team is against Trump. I am surprised that Newt and the Heritage guy on the panel did not go after Strzog in any meaningful way. The Jim Jordan take down of Wray was a classic and should be put in a time capsule.
