He hasn't resigned yet, he only said he would at some point in the future.

Yup, the POS is just playing another game right now..... he will wait to see if things cool off, and when Moore is elected watch Frankenstein and pals turn it into a kind of “expel both or neither” contest within the Senate.

NOT that there should be the slightest equivalency between false allegations against Moore and TRUE FACTS about Franken’s misconduct, but the libtards will try to paint them as equivalent.

If you look at how the election period is affecting Franken and the decision...I would suggest that he might wait until March.

The other senator...Klobuchar...is up for election in Nov of 2018.

Franken has to leave prior to 29 May 2018...if not, that gives the Governor the ability to appoint someone, and the special election is not until November 2019. The Gov is a Democrat so it’s a sure thing he’ll pick a Democrat.

I’ll go and even predict that the Gov (Mark Dayton, age 70) might go and select himself to fill out the term, and run in November.

It is interesting how people have forgotten his first campaign for Senate in 2008. Voters knew he was coarse, vulgar, and unapologetic for bad behavior and elected him anyway; narrowly the first time, overwhelmingly in 2014.

Franken was not elected - narrowly nor at all - to the Senate in the first place ... he cheated his way in with a series of car trunk votes "found" over weeks of legalistic delay.

Franken. Fraud. Fondler.

Excellent piece. Franken is an unrepentant, vicious bully, who thought he would take a (possibly) parting shot that would be heard around the world, and shame both Roy Moore AND President Trump in the doing. But all he’s done is show himself to be graceless and uncouth. A humorless clown.

“according to research done by the Twin Cities Pioneer Press, his home state newspaper, his legislative career was weak.

Of Franken’s 141 pieces of legislation (85 bills, 47 amendments, and nine resolutions) none became law.”

I don’t see that as a bad thing at all.

“Maybe the best test of all for our country would have been that Franken didn’t resign, but stayed to face the people who put him in office in the first place.”

Yeah, well, stay tuned. He didn’t actually resign, he only said that he would. I think that he is going to stay, and use the excuse of counter-balancing Moore in the Senate. He never admitted wrong-doing or apologized.

He hasn't resigned yet, he only said he would at some point in the future.

If Roy Moore loses and he is no longer an impediment to harassing Moore, he will most likely renege and hope the whole thing blows over. The problem with being a major league hypocrite is that sooner or later someone calls you out on it.

Salena Zito needs to check this out too - Franken's the tip of the iceberg about 'sexual abuse' ...what about liberal elite women?:

Investigate liberal elite women who 'put out' TO THE TOP men in Network News for advantage. Matt Lauer?

Liberal women steal promotions from traditional women who DON'T 'spread their legs' for the powerful Matt Lauer types. t It could explain why there's so few conservative women at the top in the press, Hollywood, and Network News...

How many liberal women at ABC, CBS, NBC, Hollywood and the New York Times stole promotions from traditional women by dishing out sex to men like Matt Lauer, Al Franken and Harvey Weinstein?

Stealing jobs from decent women - BY 'PUTTING OUT' IS AN 'ABUSE OF WOMEN' too. It would explain why there's so few conservative women at the top in Hollywood, the press and Network News.
