It wasn't clear if any charges would be filed in connection with the incident, but officers said they believe Molina fired at Herrera in defense of a third person, FOX29 reported.In Texas (and most of flyover country), it ought to be pretty clear that Mr. Molina was just performing a public services in taking out the trash. Now if this were New York or Massachusetts, then he might have a problem.

Texas has a very good use of force law. He will never be charged and should not be. In fact, they should have a parade in his honor.
If this were some hell hole like Md or NJ or NY he would be behind bars awaiting a liberal public defender who would be concerned for the guy he shot.
