Handled the issue accordingly. Texas law says deadly force cannot be used to protect against monetary but can be used once you feel or to prevent a felony. He then played this out so that when the perp was distracted, bam.

Good job. He kept his family alive for now. Suggest he get Police protection for a few nights. If this dead spik has any friends they may be looking him and his family up for a drive by. We are talking San Antonio. where the mescan gangs run thick as fleas on a dogs back.

The phrased you used is confusing, but if you are saying that you can only legally use deadly force in defense of self or others and not property in Texas, then you are misinformed. See - Texas Penal Code - PENAL § 9.32. Deadly Force in Defense of Person
