Americans Want Special Counsel To Investigate Clinton Uranium Deal: IBD/TIPP Poll

Cinton Scandal: Americans overwhelmingly support the appointment of a special counsel to investigate the 2010 deal that gave Russia direct control over one-fifth of the U.S.' uranium, a new IBD/TIPP Poll shows.

Of the 50% who said they were following the uranium story closely, 68% said they would like the "Justice Department to appoint a special counsel to investigate the uranium deal with Russia," the poll's data indicated.

The convoluted deal involved a transaction in which Uranium One, a Canadian firm, was acquired by the Russian government-controlled nuclear monopoly Rosatom.

But the deal had to be approved by the U.S. government, due to Uranium One's extensive holdings in the U.S. The acquisition sailed through, in part because Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gave her strong approval.

The Uranium One cover up went on until 2015 under the guise of a “ongoing investigation” that the FBI, of course, had to keep secret because that is what it does with ongoing investigations .

This was another case of the Clinton perfected scam of using the FBI for obstructing , covering up and hiding scandals using the pretext that there is an “ongoing investigation” in progress.

Of course , the “ongoing investigation” is going nowhere and is actively engineered to go nowhere

After a decade of the ongoing investigation going nowhere, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein petitioned the courts to permanently seal all the documents relating to the Uranium One investigation so no one would ever be able find out what transpired, thus closing the FBI's coverup.

Uranium One is a high level government conspiracy and the conspiracy did not end until 2015

The DOJ can’t do much of anything until you get an AG.

Americans simply no longer Trust the DOJ or FBI.
They are corrupt, and not ONE (1) single person
has paid the price for lying, obstruction of justice,
and treason. NOT ONE.

Americans want the traitors to the US on gallows,
but the AG is after pot smokers, instead,
and the DOJ/FBI only cares to remove America’s
CHOSEN (by vote) PRESIDENT.

Actually Jim approved NSA-CIA-FBI budgets where data collection centers designed to harvest every bit for storage, then retrievable by query, on every phone call, email, text message, and now every piece of postal service mail, for purposes of spying when a name is on someone’s radar. It is a tool for and by politicians.

THE CLINTON FOUNDATION CONNECTION

Memo undercuts Hillary story on controversial Russian uranium deal, Clinton foundation
Circa.com / FR Posted by ameribbean expat

Hillary-era State Department officials in fall 2009 - a year before the U.S. approved the uranium deal - had obtained an internal strategy document from Russia's main nuclear energy firm, Rosatom, that provided a warning about Moscow's intentions as it "flexes muscles" in uranium markets.

In one cable sent to Clinton, US officials in Brussels warned Russia was about to strongarm US ally Ukraine into a deal for "long-term supply of nuclear fuel" that could "shut" the U.S. company Westinghouse out of the market and extend Moscow's influence over Europe. (Read more at circa.com ...

========================================

This gambit by Bill Clinton (meddling in a foreign election) got the uranium scheme going. Bill's calculated handshake was a bonanza for the Kazahk president's re-election. Nazarbayev responded in kind and signed-off on the initial phase of the US uranium assets takeover.

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev greets former
president Clinton (L) in Almaty on September 6, 2005.

NOTE Kazakh is remembered as the last state to peel off from the USSR.

CIRCA 2015 A Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times reporter claims that former President Bill Clinton falsely denied hosting a meeting with Kazakh officials when she tried to write a story that involved his foundation several years ago.

Jo Becker, who works on the newspaper's investigative desk, said Clinton only confirmed the meeting took place after she informed him there were photographs.

Clinton's role in a deal that involved Kazakhstan, the Russian government, and a man (Giustra) who donated millions to the president's charitable foundation were detailed in a story Becker published on Thursday.

That article revisited some of her earlier reporting and included information from the upcoming book "Clinton Cash," which is generating widespread headlines amid a flurry of reports suggesting it will raise serious questions about Clinton's family foundation.

The donor in question is Canadian mining executive Frank Giustra, a longtime friend of the former president who has given tens of millions to the Clinton Foundation in the past few years. (A couple of hours after the NYT story was published, Giustra issued a defiant statement. We've included that below.)

Becker initially wrote about the February 2007 meeting between Clinton, Giustra, and executives from the state-owned nuclear company Kazatomprom in 2008. The gathering took place at Clinton's home in Chappaqua, New York.

"When I first contacted both the Clinton foundation — Mr. Clinton's spokesman — and Mr. Giustra, they denied any such meeting ever took place," Becker recalled in footage aired by Fox News on Thursday. However, Becker said Clinton and Giustra both changed their stories after she confronted them with evidence to the contrary.

"And then when we told them, 'Well we already talked to the head of Kazatomprom, who not only told us all about the meeting, but actually has a picture of him and Bill at the home in Chappaqua, and that he proudly displayed on his office wall.' They then acknowledged that yes, the meeting had taken place," Becker continued in the television interview.

The purpose of the meeting, then Kazatomprom President Moukhtar Dzhakishev told The Times, was to discuss Kazakhstan potentially buying a 10% stake in Westinghouse, a US nuclear company. Becker's 2008 story also noted one of Giustra's companies secured a deal to buy uranium deposits from Kazatomprom in 2005.

That agreement was made after Clinton accompanied Giustra on a trip to Kazakhstan. During the trip, Giustra and Clinton met with Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

Clinton issued a public statement praising the Kazakh leader despite his questionable, antidemocratic record. The Times called the praise a "propaganda coup" for Nazarbayev. (he later "won relection" w/ an unbelievable 90% of the vote)

"Just months after the Kazakh pact was finalized, Mr. Clinton's charitable foundation received its own windfall: a $31.3 million donation from Mr. Giustra that had remained a secret until he acknowledged it last month. The gift, combined with Mr. Giustra’s more recent and public pledge to give the William J. Clinton Foundation an additional $100 million, secured Mr. Giustra a place in Mr. Clinton’s inner circle," wrote Becker and another reporter, Don Van Natta.

A spokesperson for the Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership told Business Insider they are "working on a formal statement" in response to a request for comment on Thursday. Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership is an initiative of the Clinton Foundation that was cofounded by Clinton and Giustra in 2007. A Clinton Foundation spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment.

Is this the Clinton Foundation money-laundering apparat?

THE NYT REPORTED: When asked, the Clinton presidential campaign bobbed and weaved. Hillary left it to uranium investor (and donor to the Clinton Foundation) Ian Telfer to reply to questions about his Fernwood Foundation making donations to the Clinton Foundation.......

Telfer's Fernwood Foundation did not provide a response.

Mr. Telfer’s undisclosed donations to the Clinton Foundation came in addition to between $1.3 million and $5.6 million in contributions, which were reported.

The contribution money came from a constellation of people with ties to Uranium One or UrAsia, the company that originally acquired Uranium One’s most valuable asset: the Kazakh mines. Without those assets, the Russians would have had no interest in the deal: “It wasn’t the goal to buy the Wyoming mines. The goal was to acquire the Kazakh assets, which are very good,” Mr. Novikov, the Rosatom spokesman, said in an interview.

=====================================================

The IRS confrms the biggest tax evasion, money laundering scheme it encounters is one foundation writing a chck to another foundation.....the MO to skim off money for themselves or for "other purposes."

(A) The donor foundation writes a check.....(B) the receiver foundation takes a cut then (C) deposits the remainder in an offshore bank, maybe a hedge fund, for the donor's use later....... without scrutiny.

Good to see you Liz. The evidence is there. The evidence is documented. We are going nowhere because Sessions refuses to act. He is laughing at the american public. He is also spreading the false narrative that he is working behind the scenes. That is his job. Now that proof has come out, he doesn’t know which way to turn.

Sessions’ remarkably long silence since in office, offering no insights, opinions about anything, and almost, maybe really, treasonous “incapacity” to do anything to forward Trump’s agenda (and ours) is worthy of a very good investigation. He should NEVER have been appointed to that spot. Is he a relative of Trumps?

What about a firing and a new hire. How about Rudy?
