dsc, I’ve asked a question like this one elsewhere (I’ve changed it a bit to be more specific). And I am very curious as to what your take on it is.
Consider those shoot-or-dont-shoot drills police recruits go through. But in this drill the recruit is told he’s clearing a house where a person with a gun has been reported.
A target pops up. The target shows a picture of a man pointing a shotgun. The recruit is supposed to shoot, right?
Another target pops up. Its a man holding a baby. The recruit is supposed to hold his fire, right?
Now lets suppose a target pops up of a man with his hand in his pocket. No gun is seen. Should the cop shoot?
And we're back where we started from. Make sure the uniformed jackass doesn't feel threatened when that third finger touches your wallet. Your life is at stake, here.
