Brailsford orders Shaver, 26, to lay face-down in a hallway and refrain from making sudden movements - or risk being shot. He also orders a woman in the hallway to lie on the ground. Shaver is seen complying with the officer's order to put his hands on top of his head and cross his left foot over his right foot.
"Young man, you are not to move. You are to put your eyes down look down at the carpet you are to keep your fingers interlaced behind your head you are to keep your feet crossed," Brailsford says. "If you move, we are going to consider that a threat, and we are going to deal with it and you may not survive it, do you understand me?"
"Yes sir," Shaver says.
Brailsford then orders the woman to kneel, put her hands in the air and crawl towards officers. Officers then apparently handcuff her out of the view of the camera.

“A description that you dont happen to like, doesnt invalidate any argument.”
No, but the fact that it is untrue does invalidate that argument. It is simply false that all, or even a significant minority, of LEOs are jackasses who shoot people for no reason.
People really should outgrow adolescent rebellion.
You are making claims to all sorts of knowledge that you could’t possibly have.
You start with the assumption that all LEOs are “jackasses” who shoot people for no reason. You can’t get anywhere from there.
It's the correct, safe assumption these days. You and your "brother officers" need to clean up your act. You need to weed out the psychotic murderers (like this freak in Mesa) BEFORE they murder a citizen and get away with it.
Once upon a time there was an apartment rental office in Boston which got caught coding certain of their listings with a German acronym, ks. Guess what it stood for?
David French wrote about the case yesterday:
Essentially, what the police told an innocent, law-abiding, intoxicated American was this: Follow my highly-specific, very strange instructions or die. There was no need to make him crawl. The police were in command of the situation. At no point is there a visible weapon. I have seen soldiers deal with al Qaeda terrorists with more professionalism and poise. When a man is prone, his hands are visible, and your gun is trained upon him, he is in your power.
“It’s the correct, safe assumption these days.”
Well, if you’re going to claim to believe that, it’s not going to be possible to have a reasonable discussion.
