Yes the woman I know went through an agency and everything was done in a clinic with a donor egg, etc.

I suppose Franks asked them to do it the old fashioned way?

If some guy one works for asks one to be a surrogate mother for his child, without his wife and a at least one lawyer in the room with a stack of contracts, One could be quite sure how the impregnating would occur

His wife's ovum, his sperm, in vitro fertilization. The embryo is then transferred into the uterous of the surrogate.

It's not some salacious hook up, although media will probably try to portray it in this way. It's not the surrogate's ovum.
