Last night news broke that U.S. District Court Judge Rudolph Contreras “has been recused” from the case overseeing the prosecution of General Mike Flynn. Details are vague. According to Reuters, both the judge and the Flynn legal team have yet to comment.
Additionally, there is no concrete answer as to whether the recusal was done by the judge himself or was forced upon him. While the reasoning is the key, the difference between the two options adds another layer of consequence within the rest of this outline. Reuters News Service puts it this way:

Out of the three D.C. Judges on the FISA court, the power that be (Obama admin? DOJ? NSA?) most likely shopped around to grant their request would be Contreras, no?

Using the FBI, IRS, NSA, etc as political weapons is so third world....so SS... it’s crazy to think we were 200,000 votes from the US being solidified as a marxist hell hole.
It could be the wiretaps yielded a Trump campaign universally ‘worried’ about MI, WI and PA, and with HRC’s health and energy so unpredictable they made themselves believe Trump’s ‘worry’ and conserved her stumping to what THEY thought her vulnerabilities were. Plus ADA was lying to them the whole time, too.
When I saw the movie "All the President's Men," I became convinced that Watergate was a set-up to bring Nixon down.
Since then, the Democrats have repeatedly done far, far worse than anything accused in Watergate, and they have gotten away with it. Lest we forget, Bill Clinton was fond of siccing the IRS on people, even private citizens, who criticized him or worked for Republicans. And Obama took that kind of persecution to new levels.
Nixon was a dick. And he deserved what he got. But the people responsible for what’s going on now make Nixon look like a piker.
It is scary. I grew up believing that Americans were somehow immune to the ideologies that lead to massive pogroms. When Bill Clinton was elected (and reelected), I realized that we are as capable of descending into a totalitarian h311hole as anyone. Obama brought us dangerously close to the brink. While the election of Hillary would have pushed us over the edge into that dystopia, I'm not certain that electing Trump has saved us. But I have guarded hope, especially as more swamp slime is exposed.
I believe it very likely that the Obama group is still spying extensively on the Trump Administration through their control of the machinery of the FBI and most of the DoJ. Trump cannot fix that without firing the entire management level of both. The obamunists within will continue to use the capabilities of the DoJ to spy on and to thwart Donald Trump so long as any of them remain in place.
A most interesting bit of research would be to look into the first FISA request that was denied. Date, who signed the request, what evidence was submitted, and what judge denied it. Then the big picture would open up. Maybe all this is already known.
It is on them, Bigly! It is being labeled as “The Storm”.
Jim Jordan (love the guy) was all over the FISA stuff yesterday. Wray wouldn’t talk about it .... tried to wiggle out of it & Grassley smacked him down & told him the committee had clearance to look at it in a classified setting. FISA is the key, from the first warrant to the last. In my mind (and Jordan’s, evidently), the Dirty Dossier was used to get the warrant and the FBI knew it wasn’t ‘intelligence’ so they lied to the court and then continued to use the warrant to spy on Trump & his people. Big, big trouble for whoever did this and the country itself that this could go on. Right now, we’re a Banana Republic unless and until people, regardless of who they are & the positions they hold in government, are held accountable for their crimes.
Methinks there is enough credible information on the table now to request a judge to dismiss all charges against Flynn and the others.
