New documents obtained by government watchdog Judicial Watch show a top DOJ prosecutor, who is now working as a deputy on Special Counsel Bob Mueller's investigation, cheered the decision by former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates to defy orders and refusal to enforce President Trump's first travel ban in January. Yates was the acting attorney general at the time and was promptly fired for her defiance.
Emails show Andrew Weissmann, who served as chief of the Justice Department’s Criminal Fraud Section under President Obama, loved Yates' refusal to implement the ban.
“I am so proud. And in awe. Thank you so much. All my deepest respects,” Weissmann wrote.
The New York Times has described Weissmann as "Mueller's Pitbull."
He is a top lieutenant to Robert S. Mueller III on the special counsel investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible links to the Trump campaign. Significantly, Mr. Weissmann is an expert in converting defendants into collaborators — with either tactical brilliance or overzealousness, depending on one’s perspective.
“This is an astonishing and disturbing find. Andrew Weissmann, a key prosecutor on Robert Mueller’s team, praised Obama DOJ holdover Sally Yates after she lawlessly thwarted President Trump,” Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton released in a statement.
“How much more evidence do we need that the Mueller operation has been irredeemably compromised by anti-Trump partisans? Shut it down.”
The President needs to start handing out blanket pardons to everyone on his team.

There are differences of opinion on various subjects, but this ruling was sooooo far out there that as a matter of the Constitution and law it was as indefensible. Complete malicious silliness.

It’s not just academia.
Maybe one of the most disturbing (ignored) news items this year is that an FBI special agent was following the Garland Texas jihad attackers from Arizona to Texas, encouraging them via text to “Tear up Texas!” before their aborted massacre of the “Draw Mohammed” event.
Not to stop them, but to clear the path, and encourage a massacre. This FBI special agent fled when “his” jihadists were shot on the parking lot by an armed security guard. The FBI is still ignoring congressional requests for information on this incredible turn of events.
The feds, including IRS, FBI, DOJ etc have been hiring Marxist SJWs for a decade now, and they are going to be embedded inside our govt for a generation.
The Comey/Mueller/Rosenstein/McCabe Mafia have totally corrupted the FBI. It ought to be gutted and reconstructed with honest agents. These contaminated leaders should be prosecuted. Jeff Sessions is not the man for this task.

Mueller’s probe doesn’t end with a bang, but with a whimper
Trump needs to shut this “investigation” down and order Jeff Sessions to prosecute Mueller’s entire team. They’re all dirty. ALL of them.
