Actually some land masses are rising and some are sinking which makes measurement very difficult.

It is geology, not climate.

Other land masses are neither rising nor sinking — they are eroding, which allows some fools to believe that nearby sea levels are rising.

Here I thought all those cities under the oceans were built as undersea scuba hot spots for that same purpose. The digs where they find remnants of ships on hills and in deserts means they were dragged there as a joke by ancient civilizations, don't ya know.
